S3 Bucket Integration for Email Storage for Domains

Feature Request: S3 Bucket Integration for Email Storage under Domains

Hello,

I would like to propose a new feature: the ability to use an Amazon S3 bucket for email storage. This feature would allow users to leverage their own S3 buckets to store and manage the emails for their domains.

Why this is a valuable addition:

  • Scalability & Cost-Effectiveness: S3 offers highly scalable and cost-effective storage. Users could pay only for the storage they use, and easily scale their email storage up or down without limits.

  • Data Ownership & Control: This would give users full ownership and control over their email data. They could manage backups, implement custom retention policies, and use their preferred security measures.

  • Integration with Existing Workflows: Many businesses and developers already use S3 for other data storage needs. This feature would allow them to integrate email storage seamlessly into their existing AWS infrastructure and workflows.

  • Reliability & Durability: S3 is known for its high durability and availability, ensuring that email data is safe and accessible.

Integrating S3 bucket storage would provide a powerful, flexible, and cost-effective solution for domain-based email, catering to users who need robust, scalable storage with full data control.
